Team Description
The Equity Derivatives Sales team works with a variety of clients, including individual and institutional clients, that use derivatives and other structured solutions to achieve their investment objectives.
Within the broader Equity Derivatives Sales team, the Structured Institutional Derivatives Sales Team covers a wide range of investors across the globe with a specific focus on Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Private Equity Funds, and Insurance Companies.
The team is focused on providing multiple layers of equities coverage to our institutional clients, including equity swaps, vanilla and exotic options, systematic trading strategies, and various outperformance solutions depending on the client’s diverse needs.
The Structured Institutional Derivatives Sales Team is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to join our Shenzhen and Hong Kong office .
Key Responsibilities
· Distribute best-in-class ideas and solutions to our individual and institutional clients , specifically Rrivate Bank, Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Private Equity Funds, and Insurance Companies
· Help identify new business opportunities and originate new client relationships with a strategic and long-term view
· Grow and maintain existing client relationships
· Provide general support to the team by servicing client requests, working closely with Trading and Structuring on a wide array of derivative and custom solutions, managing internal workflow post-trade with Operations and Credit
· Analyze and back-test trade ideas to deliver bespoke content to clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
· 3-5 years of relevant experience
· Client-focused with strategic, long term mind-set
· Strong attention to detail
· Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
· Strong technical and mathematical skills as well as an advanced level of proficiency in using pricing tools for derivatives

The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) investment banking group provides corporate clients across the FIG spectrum with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products. Our FIG Group provides financing and advisory services to financial institutions and fintech tech clients, including the leading players in Independent wealth management firms, banks, insurance firms, asset management firms, security firms, financial technology firms, specialty finance, capital market infrastructure firms and other types of financial services firms we cover. Our group offers a wide range of products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance, risk management/hedging and co-investing. Our Analyst & Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Their responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, client communication and engagement and assisting in structuring transactions. They will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.
Analysts & Associates develop financial models, perform customized company valuation analysis, and are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. They organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, assess clients’ situations to provide the necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Additionally, Associates coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; lead execution of full transaction, conduct and facilitate due diligence processes and actively participate in the negotiations of legal documentation. From maintaining client communication to helping Ninth Eternity Securities(九久证券）structure client transactions, our Associates are a vital part of Ninth Eternity Securities(九久证券）’ banking team’s investments.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline
· Minimum 1 year experience in FIG and related sectors within the private equity/investment banking/financial services industry required for Analyst applicants. Minimum 2 years experience required for Associate applicants
· History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
· Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin is critical for the role
